March 26 at Bridgeport Motorsports Park the SpeedSTRs will kick off the 2022 season.
The SpeedSTRs compete weekly at the Action Track USA throughout the summer months with super star drivers from all forms of racing converging on the Kutztown Oval looking for the checkered flag. Races at Bridgeport Motorsports Park, Bloomsburg Fair Raceway, and Grandview Speedway fill a 20 race 2022 schedule.
Previously the winners share of the purse at Action Track USA was $2,000. The winner will now get $2500.00. The increase at the top of the field will not hurt the “green money” as these races will still pay $200 to start.
The opening event at Bridgeport Motorsports Park is also listed as a $2,500 to win event.
Briggs Danner is the defending Action Track USA SpeedSTR champion and Roy Danner won the season long owners points that included previous Bridgeport races. Being a weekly front runner in 2021 propelled Danner to well over $7,000 in earnings at seasons end.
