Friday night James Benz led a night of success for the Benz family at Snydersville Raceway. Benz was the first to the checkered flag in the All Star Slingshot main event over Andrew Turpin and Mason Pittenger.
On the Junior Slingshot side it was Charlene Benz first to the finish line with Austin Krobeth and Tucker Cole following.
This week, Snydersville Raceway will host Slingfest which is regularly their annual tour event.
On Saturday the central PA focus turned to Hamlin Speedway. It was Hamlin’s season opening event, but unfortunately an electrical issue did not allow the speedway to complete the show before the curfew.
Penn Can Speedway held their annual Small Car Nationals on Sunday. Taylor Mills bested the All Star field with Andrew Turpin settling for his second, second place finish of the weekend. A strong run for Josh Patterson in third.
Liam Jackson was the Junior Slingshot winner on Sunday at Penn Can Speedway.
Rain won out in the southern portion of the county this weekend.
