Andrew Turpin has started the season with success in the Empire Series with two second place finishes. He finally broke through on Sunday night at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park for his first Empire Series win win the Northeast Paving & Sealcoating All-Star Slingshots.
Adam Fusco and Tucker Jones were the other two drivers on the podium at races end.
Nick Auspelmyer and Darryn Fallis completed the top five. Jim Pollard, Matt Sabo, Joshua Persse, Tavien Blowers, and Scott Sprague completed the top ten.
In the Junior Slingshots it was a familiar face in victory lane as Brock Pinkerous drove to his second win of the season and extended his current point lead. Pinkerous took the checkered flag over Lucas Duncan, Avery Decker, Josh Landers, and Hayden Ackerknecht.
Cole Conrad was sixth followed by Corky Warner, Jaden Pierce, Trevor Houghton, and Chase Zimmer.
The Empire Series returns to the track on June 18th at the Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, Ny.
