Hamlin Speedway readies for huge Slingshot Event Saturday

We are just days away from one of the biggest weekends of the year for the All Star and Junior Slingshots. Hamlin Speedway has been a long-standing corner stone for the Slingshots along with Randy and Denise Smith.

This weekend the Northeast, Empire, and Super National series will all converse on Hamlin Speedway for one major event!

50 Laps for the All Star Slingshots during Honor our Veterans Night!

Coming into the event Brett Bieber leads the Northeast Series Points over Dave Carraghan and Andrew Turpin.

Aidan Donaldson will look to protect his hom turn in the Junior Slingshots as a Hamlin regular and the Northeast Junior Slingshot Point Leader.

Dan Ballard is the Empire Series point leader holding off Brett Putnum currently and the Super National winner Nick Auspelmyer.

Brock Pinkerous shows the way in the Empire Junior Slingshot point standings over Frank Twing Jr and Matthew Backus.

In the first Super National race of the Glen Ridge/ Hamlin doubleheader, Nick Auspelmyer and Liam Jackson were the winners and currently lead the points going into Hamlin this weekend.

Any driver is eligible for World Championship Weekend at Linda’s Speedway on Oct 30, 31, and Nov 1. Drivers looking to contend for the World Championship will need points from their Home Track/ Tour and a Super National Event.

Scott Neary (All Star) and Aidan Donaldson (Junior) are the current Slingshot point leaders at Hamlin Speedway.

Hamlin will use the double heat race format for the Slingshots this weekend.
