Mayberry writing another chapter is career legacy with SpeedSTRs

Tom Mayberry is a cornerstone central Pennsylvania racing. In 1987 Mayberry drove the famed John Zemaitas Zemko #1 to a Penn National Speedway point champion.

Now, in 2021, Mayberry is sitting at the top of Speedway Entertainment All Pro SpeedSTR point standings fueled by Vp Racing Fuels.

Mayberry has used consistency in the early stages of the new season to stand at the top of the touring series points leading into Sunday’s season opener at Championship Energy Action Track USA. Mayberry has yet to finish outside the top five in his Ralph Rehrig owned number 17r this season.

Mayberry started the season with a fourth place finish at Middleford Speedway in Delaware. He was then a podium finisher at the “Kingdom of Speed” Bridgeport Motorsports Park on April 24. The SpeedSTRs returned to Bridgeport Tuesday and Mayberry again raced into the top five with his second fourth place finish of the season.

Mayberry has long time Car Owner Ralph Rehrig on the top of the car owner point list just ahead of Musser Racing and their driver Jason Musser. Tim Iulg stands third in car owner standings.

Rehrig has two more cars in the top five of the standings as the cars driven by Justin Thompson and Jay Hartman is fourth and Jeff Kot is fifth.

The of Speedway Entertainment All Pro SpeedSTRs fueled by Vp Racing Fuels begin a very busy three month summer stretch this Sunday at Action Track USA. 13 races over the next 12 weeks will include stops at Action Track, Bloomsburg Fairgrounds, Bridgeport Motorsports Park, and Linda’s Speedway.

Information regarding the SpeedSTRs can be found on SpeedwayEnt.com, Facebook, or by calling 717-866-7450.
