Neary Brothers Rolling as Northeast Series Opener Nears

Thursday Night Sam Neary finally got the monkey off his back at Action Track USA and took the victory in the 55 Slingshot.

Scott Neary did the same at Hamlin Speedway on Saturday. Neary joined his brother as winners in the 55 car during the weekends racing. Wes Hearn and Dale Kober rounded out the top three at Hamlin.

Rain took out races at Shellhammer Dirt Track Wednesday and Snydersville Raceway and Linda’s Speedway on Friday night.

Shellhammer Dirt Track did race on Saturday with Kaitlyn Swist seeing the checkered flag first in the Junior Slingshots bouncing back from a big wreck a few weeks ago. Joey Lyle and Hayden Kimm were the top three.

Tim Carter took the checkered flag in the All Star Slingshots besting the 14 car field. Ryan Updegrove and William Mohring were the podium finishers.

Mike McLaughlin bested Wes Hearn in the Super Slingshots at Hamlin Speedway Saturday with Jeremy Hoffman taking third. Aidan Donaldson continued to roll with another Junior Slingshot win added to his quickly growing total for the year. James Hendricks charged from mid pack to finish second followed by Charlene Benz.

This coming Saturday is the season opening event for the Northeast Touring Series at Lanco’s Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway!
