Slingshot Double Header this Weekend offers different flair

The Slingshots are gearing up for the Garden State 100 weekend!

The racing for the Slingshots will be a double header weekend.

Saturday the All Star Slingshots Slingshots will compete in the “Slinger Derby” running 12 laps on the big track while the junior Slingshots will run the ¼ mile track. Both classes will run hot laps, heat races, and the A Main.

The recommended starting gear for Saturday will be a 46.

On Sunday the Slingshots will take on the “Roval” that will mix both the ¼ mile track and the big track at Bridgeport Motorsports Park in a road course type event. To run this race drivers will need to use the Aluminum wheels on both the right and left rear of the car.

Recommendations for the race include a 52-54 gear, 20lb of air pressure in both rear tires, and moving the rear wheels out.

There is a planned practice on Saturday night for the Roval event on Sunday following the Saturday show.
