Medicare Senior Services, based in Mexico, N.Y., and Ocala, Fla., will present a Slingshot Series at Utica-Rome Speedway. The Slingshots will compete on the inner oval on nine Friday nights May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, July 30, August 13 and August 27.
Teams will compete for a $2,000 total Medicare Senior Services point fund paying the following: $500 - $400 - $250 - $200 - $150 - $100 (6th-10th) at year-end.
The June 18 event will be a Speedway Entertainment Empire Slingshot Tour points-paying race.
The Slingshot dates have been set up not to conflict with Afton Motorsports Park, running the division on opposite Friday nights.
